Welcome to Girmanators! By accessing or using our application (the "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). Girmanators is a family money-management and chore-engagement app operated by Girmanators, LLC.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using the App, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use the App.

2. Eligibility & Age Requirement

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. By registering, you represent and warrant that you are 18 or older and are the parent or legal guardian of any child you add to your family account. Child members do not create their own accounts; a parent or guardian creates and controls them.

3. Children's Accounts & Parental Responsibility

As the account holder, you are responsible for the child accounts you create and for all activity that occurs under your family account. By adding a child, you consent to the collection and use of that child's information as described in our Privacy Policy, and you confirm you have the authority to provide that consent. You may review, export, or delete a child's information, or remove the child account, at any time.

4. Use of the App

You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You are responsible for keeping your credentials, and your children's sign-in handles and PINs, secure, and for all activity that occurs under your account.

5. In-Family Rewards & Simulated Investing

The App's currencies, banking, and shop operate entirely within your family as a chore-and-reward economy. They do not represent real money and have no cash value. The investing feature is simulated ("paper") investing for education only — no real funds are deposited, no real securities are bought or sold, and nothing in the App is financial, investment, or tax advice. Market data is provided for illustration and may be delayed or inaccurate.

6. User Content

You are responsible for any content you or your family members post or upload to the App. You grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, reproduce, modify, and display your content solely for the purpose of operating and providing the App.

7. Intellectual Property

The App and its content, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and software, are the property of Girmanators, LLC or its licensors and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted or error-free.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, in no event shall Girmanators, LLC be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the App.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, without notice, for any reason, including a breach of these Terms. You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States and the State of Maryland, without regard to conflict-of-law provisions.

12. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of changes by posting the new Terms on this page. Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
